“She waved a hand dismissively. “Now, before I tell you, I don’t want to hear a word about the cost. Promise me.”

“I absolutely will not promise that,” I said. “Hit me anyway.”

She leaned forward. “Botox.””

I lol’ed, woke the baby, and instantly subscribed!

It has been said that age regresses a person emotionally. Treat her like an insolent 16-year-old. My 30-something kids do that. Pisses me off, but it usually works.

No, I don't have 30 kids. Seven, ranging from 25 to 42. Hers, mine and ours.

I would like to know what age I need to be to become this much of a master of manipulation. I'm 61, I am not there yet apparently. Maybe I need to spend some time with your mother. But I'll be going big guns after that - and a facelift. :)

I used to get it regularly to control and train fine lines. I loved it bc my clinician is an expert and top nurse who teaches new nurses how to apply for the best natural look. Anywayyyyy life changes cut my spending, and I can’t get it anymore. 😭But sometimes I still tease my husband that I’m going to go to one of those clinics that give coupons and get my forehead so tight that he won’t know when I’m making a face or rolling my eyes at him. I told him the look I’m going for now is no expression. 🤣🤣🤣
